We also want to remind our readers that there are a lot of excellent quality and show-room conditon used vehicles you can purchase from Japan, but don't assume every car is perfect based on the myths we're about to bust. *Do your research on the company you're dealing with and join our forums to post any questions about buying cars from Japan you might have.
We're posting this due to the rampant misinformation and misrepresentation of the different models, eg. companies and people are passing off their cars as an STi when it is WRX. This is a big deal because the performance, features and many other things changed considerably each year between WRX and STi, and even Type RA.

The ones we will cover here will include the more popular and perhaps more respected ones such as USS auctions. We do not recommend Yahoo auctions unless you have a friend or exporter who can physically check the car and in this case you would also have to place your trust entirely in them to make sure the mileage and conditio
